Fine art photography by Irene Suchocki. Eye Poetry Photography Italy

One of my favorite Etsy photographer's is Irene Suchocki.  Her shop is called Eye Poetry Photography.
I choose to share with you some of Irene's travel photography of Italy.  Here is a little bit about Irene as well as some links for you to explore.

"In my photography I combine my love of travel and place with a dream-like aesthetic to create visual poems that evoke a sense of magic, delight, nostalgia and romance. I love to photograph iconic places such as Paris, New York, and Venice in a way that gives the sense of having tumbled through a secret doorway into a previously unseen world. When I am not traveling, I turn to nature for inspiration and for subject matter, with a particular fondness for trees and coastal landscapes."

Description:
This beautiful Jane Austen art journal was inspired by fashion from the regency era. The journal consists of 14 thick pages. Each page was designed by me, put together from high quality card stock, hand cut, and individually inked for that special vintage look.

Each page of the Jane Austen journal features a beautiful regency lady from Austen's era, as well as pieces from Jane Austen's old book covers. This Jane Austen inspired spring journal comes in beautiful pastel colors - orange, light brown, beige, pale pink, light blue, and green. At the very end there is a pocket filled with matching journaling cards, so that you can embellish the journal with your favorite quotes, or simply your memories and thoughts.

*Some of my favorite Jane Austen Quotes*

“An artist cannot do anything slovenly.”

“If I loved you less, I might be able to talk about it more.

“Let other pens dwell on guilt and misery.”

“One does not love a place the less for having suffered in it..”

“There is no charm equal to tenderness of heart.”

“There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort.

“To be fond of dancing was a certain step towards falling in love.”

“We have all a better guide in ourselves, if we would attend to it, than any other person can be.

“What is right to be done cannot be done too soon.

Besides the journal, you also get your choice of 1 handmade card!

Edgar Allan Poe Quotes on Etsy

A few of my personal favorite Poe quotes....

“All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.”

Beauty of whatever kind, in its supreme development, invariably excites the sensitive soul to tears.

I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.

“I have great faith in fools; self-confidence my friends call it.

“I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat.”

I would define, in brief, the poetry of words as the rhythmical creation of Beauty.”

“If you wish to forget anything on the spot, make a note that this thing is to be remembered.

The true genius shudders at incompleteness - and usually prefers silence to saying something which is not everything it should be.”

“There is an eloquence in true enthusiasm.

And on Etsy....

“Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore —
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
"'Tis some visiter," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door —
Only this and nothing more” – The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe

London Photography by Keri Bevan on Etsy

Happy Saturday! I hope that your weekend is off to a good start. What I am going to be doing for the next week is featuring travel photography of various cities from all over the world. Today we are in London, England and I am particularly eager to be sharing with you some fine art by English photographer Keri Bevan. She was kind enough to allow me to feature her work, so make sure to show her some love by visiting her shop and her blog. You can find the links below along with a copy of Keri's Etsy profile.  Cheers!

Keri's Blog:

"Hello! I am a UK based fine art photographer. My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic Flashcube camera. By the time I was a teenager I was turning the family bathroom into a darkroom with my vintage film developing equipment. These days I love to evoke a mood of mystery, nostalgia and whimsy through the art of digital photography. I enjoy experimenting with various techniques such as TTV to create photographs that have a dream-like, ethereal quality.

I am lucky to say that my photographs have found their way into magazines and publications around the world, and have even won a few competitions. Mostly I feel lucky for having the opportunity to do what I love most, and for having the opportunity to share that with you.
